The BATC Saskatchewan Winter Games 2012

About Us

In the spring of 2010, Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Inc. was awarded the bid to host the 2012 Saskatchewan Winter Games.  It is our honor to host the Games for the over 3,500  First Nation youth that participate.  This opportunity will leave lasting impressions, legacies, friendships and develop long term partnerships with sponsors.

Originally, the plan was to hold the Games in the Battlefords, but due to availability of adequate facilities, Games Management made the decision to move the Games to Saskatoon.  We are currently making arrangements with the City of Saskatoon to become the home for the 2012 Saskatchewan Winter Games.

In the months to come, we will be actively recruiting for coaches, assistant coaches, athletes and volunteers for the 2012 Winter Games.  Watch for our display booth at BATC events, events on BATC member First Nations, FSIN and around the Battlefords and Saskatoon in the months to come.
